I have spent many years drafting my lighting plans for the numerous shows that I have lit.
In the very early days that was done entirely by hand using Rotring pens and an architectural drawing board, but for the last 25 years or so I have been drawing with AutoCAD, Wysiwyg and now Vectorworks.
So I now have expert CAD & 3d modelling skills, which I offer to Theatres, Opera Houses, TV studios, Live Events & Production companies, and freelance Scenic & Lighting Designers.
I specialise in Vectorworks Spotlight and use ETC EOS Nomad and grandMA3 OnPC software to pre-visualise lighting cues and stage “looks”. I enjoy creating comprehensive sets of entertainment technical drawings, scenic and lighting plans and informative, top-quality renders.
